Projection Close 1/27



To do this evening/ was completed: A quiet night. No issues this evening. Made the rounds to check on each room/booth. 

Notice on the cue sheets that for tomorrow, Magnificent Obsession ends at 1:29, but on the TMS it's 1:31. 1:29 end time was listed for today's screening as well, so my assumption is that it was fine? 

Note: when you go to log into the TMS, use admin as the username and 1234 for the password. For whatever reason, Alec and I have no idea why the username root and its Google saved password isn't working, but the aforementioned is. 

Assisted listening device put back in the storage room. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked to make sure everything's good to go for Hudson's Birthday bash in T6 tomorrow. Playlist is all set and scheduled on the TMS. Please remember that Hudson will need a mic. I set both the feature and the short at resectable volumes, but of course you can adjust as need be. Spotlight remote for T6 is on the desk in 4/6.  Should be a very cute morning. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Starting moving through the events for February and even for some of March (mostly just for my own planning ahead), noting important details we'll likely need to address in various weekly updates, despite the fact that these updates will typically be week to week focused and not overly bloated with info. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Continued downloading and ingesting the available Nitehawk Shorts to our shiny new drive. Updated the sheet.

Maintenance/cleaning: Wiped down the surfaces in 4/6 so no one gets my pesky cold.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
