NPP Projection Admin 2/27



To do this evening/ was completed: Finished the cue sheets for the coming week. 

DCP'd March holding slides, Freddy's Dead, West Side Story, Legend, yet to be ingested.

Tech'd Freddy's Dead and The Last Dragon. Reel five of Freddy looked okay with the 3D glasses, left a pair in the booth.

Loops ran, T1 projectors ready for tonight.

Illyse from Roxy came by to pick up Space Jam, and gave me Lillian's Pillow Book print, which is back in 4/6.

West Side Story keys uploaded.

Kung Fu Panda 4 ingested to TMS.

New Wild Parrots DCP transcoding in T1 failed due to an error stating the software could not read the subtitles included, unrecognized root node.
    *If keystoning was the only issue with the DCP we downloaded, probably better to adjust the 1.33 projector channel than trying to make a new DCP. -AL

Special Events/ AV set up: We received two new mic stands, they're in the bag in the Trees closet.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): I called P3 to arrange the return of the two standees in 3/7, they'll get back to me. They'll hopefully be gone soon. AL

Maintenance/cleaning: Pulled logs from the T3 projector and server to send to Chris at DMS to look into the projector communication issues we've had. Waiting to hear back. I reseated the IMS and ICP and checked the ethernet connections which were all fine. AL

* I moved the opening nite NSF playlist to 6:20, it was scheduled for 6:35 and that was the preshow time on the cue sheet. - AL

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
