NPP Projection Admin 2/8



To do this evening/ was completed: Attached one of our new (4/6 bin) 1/8th to RCA cables into the 750 nonsync input in T2. The NewFest Spotify playlist is on the rack monitor. We're logged into the projection account so no need to give anyone a heads up when using Spotify. Playlist for the show will switch over to nonsync a few seconds in, just have the music playing and you'll be fine. Tested mics and spots, those are fine.

Note that the hosts decided to add a spot setting for the Q&A today. It's one spot to the left of the screen and one center stage, I made this preset and it's bank 1 scene 7.-AL

DJ equipment is set up in Trees. We rented it and it's getting picked up tomorrow, so please break it down at the end of the night. The cases are under the equipment on the table in Trees. Some cables were included with the rental, so be sure to include these in the cases for returning. It'll be pretty obvious which are theirs, they have a velcro fastener which says "Soundhouse" on it, the name of the rental house. For reference though an ethernet, RCA, and power cable was included with each CDJ (there are 2 of these) and a power cable and an RCA to 1/8" cable with the mixer. -AL

Inspected four of the five reels of the SoF print Heroes Shed No Tears. It's in fair condition overall, good amount of base and emulsion scratching, the emulsion scratches run unbroken for the majority of most of the reels. The last reel features 33 repaired tears and a good handful of splices. Color seems fine. All the reels also feature cues during the middle of the reels and false motor cues that occur too late at the end of each reel. I added new grease cues for the motor. Last reel (reel two) still needs inspecting.

Built new 2/9 trailer packs and Madame Web playlists--those have been scheduled. Still waiting on the Bob Marley feature One Love. Deluxe portal claims the DCP will be delivered physically by 2/12.

Lisa Frankenstein content tech'd, feature volume updated. Was not able to look at Time Bandits. That can happen tomorrow or sometime before Monday.

Presentation Issues: Couldn't remove seat 7401 today for a guest. Two of the screws were stuck in their threaded holes. The guest elected to just sit in the seat.

Maintenance/cleaning: I replaced the cone I think is the problem with the subwoofer in Theater 1. The level for it was also way too loud which definitely would've exacerbated the issue. Sounds good now. -AL

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
