NPP Projection Close 2/21

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: House lights went up to pre-show levels exactly 4 minutes into the screening of The Sweet East -- thankfully I was in the room checking on volume and caught it as it happened -- and I ran to the booth to bring them down again before the opening credits rolled (I checked the SPL before the show began but did not catch that the lights cue was so misplaced)

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Sweet East screening and Q&A went smoothly -- despite the lights issue described above -- and the intro and talkback were recorded to the desktop in booth 1 (added these files to the desktop and emailed them to Cristina who moderated) 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Deadpool & Wolverine posters and standee were delivered and stored behind 3/7 (there is a number on the standee to send it elsewhere)

Print/video Inspection: Began looking at Pumping Iron II: The Women (reels 1-3) and uploaded some stills to the shared drive + started an inspection report

Marquee updated?: Removed Buckaroo Banzai and added letters for Freddy's Dead (was unable to add the screening date since the forward slash seemingly disappeared into thin air when it fell from the marquee)

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
