NPP Projection Close 2/8

To do this evening/ was completed: Reviewed the weekly update and took note of upcoming special events and Super Bowl playback this weekend (Shouting at the Screen coincides with a Q&A next Thursday...might need to ask the opener that day to stay a little late to assist in juggling both events)

Special Events/ AV set up: Yi Yi played to a near sold out crowd in theater 1 this evening

HBO x NewFest screening in theater 1 went smoothly overall despite the hosts wanting to change the spotlight settings at the last minute (again) which was ultimately shot down. Set up was broken down after the show (the spare mic stand is behind the curtains beside the stanchions). Plex playback needed the slightest troubleshooting but was resolved before the guests in attendance got down to Trees. DJ set went well and the equipment was broken down afterwards. ***Soundhouse equipment rental was packed up and put away in the storage closet next to Trees Lounge for safekeeping until it is picked up tomorrow***

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): 

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Tales of Hoffman DCP drive was delivered, ingested, and transferred to theater 1 from the TMS (keys are still needed to unlock this content)

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Looked at the final reel from this week's SoF print and added notes to the inspection report (added grease cues where needed as this reel was also full of false motor and changeover cues)

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked all cues/film schedule for tomorrow against the website and adjusted some of the end credit offset information 

Marquee updated?: Lisa Frankenstein letters can go up tomorrow

Posters updated?: Put Lisa Frankenstein in place of American Fiction and swapped Drive Away Dolls out with its newer poster

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
