Projection Admin 2/26 Lillian (Will mid)



To do this evening/ was completed: Took a look at Wild Parrots and Private Benjamin. Wild Parrots is slightly keystoning - this was a file we received, not an in house DCP. It's 1.37 in a flat container (the frame is 1.37, but comes out at 1.85 ratio)  I adjusted this a little in DCP-o-matic. It's transcoding in T1. Private Benjamin can get dcp'd (the first file. I downloaded it again to the desktop). We'll have this as backup and show it to Desmond this week. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the private event playlists (Bob Marley run of show is confirmed. Waiting on the folks for Zone of Interest to see if there's an intro.) Saw that Zone of Interest was initially built as an A1, but it's not, it's just for this private event on Wednesday. 

Deleted a bunch of playlists we no longer need. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Howard the Duck all set for tonight.

We'll be streaming Jaws on 3/5 in T3. John sent out an invite for this. This will be an early morning situation. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Reached out about the KDMs for West Side Story, but I don't think they're gonna come in for a few days. Same with Dune. 

American Fiction keys uploaded. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Please do not ship out Space Jam to Roxy just yet. They are likely dropping this off since they're going to drop off my print of Pillow Book and we'll just swap.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
