NPP Projection Admin 3/12

To do this evening/ was completed: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind ingested to T2, Parasite ingested to T3.

Ran reels of Boyz N The Hood and Legend for Desmond, volumes logged. Added a piece of gaff tape to P2 window as there was a little bleed with the 1.85 lens on the left hand side. Removed a piece of gaff tape from the right side of the P1 window as it was obscuring the edge of the scope projection.

Also, the P1 removable film trap was giving me a bit of an issue, basically one of the spring loaded circular rollers on each side of the metal bands was pushed a little too far in, causing the film to sort of push itself out slightly, so when I would advance it by hand it was never flush against the bands. I removed the trap from the projector and loosened a screw on the back of it which allowed the roller to move outward slightly, retightened the screw and started advancing film again by hand and the reel sat flush against the rollers. Did all of this before running a reel of Legend on that projector.

Took a look at all of the content for tonight's event screening of Love is the Message. Feature volume bumped to 5.0 and got rid of all the standard preshow content in the playlist, as we'll be using the Q&A slide for preshow as the music that Nicky sent over plays over the Nonsync input. The file is up on the T1 rack monitor, just press play. I have the volume for the preshow set to 3.8 I also have the music file open in Google Chrome on the Trees iPad, so you just scroll through the apps and hit play. It's playing via Google Drive.

John W asked if we could set up a wireless mic for Nicky so he could talk to people during the preshow, so I connected the Shure receiver to the wall XLR input and set up the mixer beneath the screen, tested wireless mics they're good to go. You might want to be around during preshow just to get the right volume balance between music and mic. Bring the master volume knob on the mixer to about 11-12 o' clock.

Scheduled the week in the TMS.

Ran some content in T3 just to make sure things were steady, all good.
