NPP Projection Close 3/14

To do this evening/ was completed: 

Presentation Issues: Had to lower the volume for Dune 2 from its original 5.0 setting to 4.5 in theaters 1 and 2 since the former sounded far too loud during some of the action scenes -- crowds in each of these room were quite full but the film at 4.5 strikes a nice balance between levels even with the attendance

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Reached out to Sony about scheduling a courier pickup for the Boyz n the Hood print in booth 1 (this has been re-inspected and packaged for return shipment)

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Swept around the 4/6 booth (specifically the stairs up from the landing -- these were coated in a thick dust) and brought a couple compressed air canisters down to booth 1 (left one by each projector for upcoming screenings)

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked showtimes for tomorrow against the TMS schedule and initialed for confirmation 

Marquee updated?: Added letters for Taking Off (in addition to letters noting "Part 4" next to Friday the 13th) to the 35mm side + added letters for Love Lies Bleeding and Problemista to the front facing marquee

Posters updated?: Added a "now showing" snipe above the poster for Love Lies Bleeding outside

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

Additional Notes: Updated all current first run titles on the whiteboard in 4/6 + added all relevant information

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
