NPP Projection Open 3/17

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: First three rounds in auditorium 7 were scheduled very close to one another (show playlists only had about a minute to spare before the next one started) and needed to be played manually

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates: 

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up a mic at Trees for the hosts of the St. Patrick's Day breakfast (note: there is no spare mic in the A/V bin at Trees and no mic stands beneath the curtain in theater 1 -- not sure where these went) **update: mic input 2 was giving us some trouble when the guests needed to use it, despite my testing the mic off that cable and it working fine before the event, I ended up having to turn the volume to near its limit in order for their voices to be audible

There was another impromptu intro for Make Me Famous this afternoon -- I paused the playlist right before house lights went down to allow the guest to speak and resumed the show once they finished

Double checked the Friday the 13th Part IV pre-show and added a volume cue to it (the print was tech'd with Desmond a few days ago and its volume noted then)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received a CRU drive of Robert Gourley's film and ingested it locally to theater 1 for tomorrow morning's tech (there were three features on this drive, two named A Harvest and another titled RWB, all of which have been ingested)

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Removed It's Complicated and Make Me Famous feature content from the TMS (and servers) following their respective screenings this afternoon

Gave the Make Me Famous DCP back to the rep who introduced the film this afternoon

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Made the rounds this morning before the building opened and checked on light fixtures inside the auditoriums and, with the exception of a few ceiling panels in 2 and 6, everything is in working order

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked today's times before the first round to make sure all shows this morning were accurate + double checked cues for tomorrow (added the Dune 2 OCAP show playlist to theater 7 since it had not yet been transferred to the server)

Marquee updated?: Parade crowds prevented me from taking anything down but the brunch side can be updated as soon as there is space/time available (I organized letters for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and left them on the workbench behind 3/7)

Posters updated?: Nathaniel radioed and noted someone from the Make Me Famous team was asking for an extra poster** back (he found it behind 3/7 and returned it to them) -- **the poster in question turned out to be a foam board the team put on display in the lobby

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
