NPP Projection Close 4/15

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Lots of troubleshooting and connectivity issues this evening in theaters 2 and 6 that Lillian detailed in her admin blog + I will be keeping my eye on these servers/auditoriums throughout the evening (update: the final round in theater 2 played without issue but none of the light cues did triggered during the credits and the house lights had to be brought up manually -- I am not confident the server will successfully shut down either so another reboot tomorrow morning could be useful)

Special Events/ AV set up: Cohen and Tate screening in theater 1 went very smoothly, as did the Q&A with director Eric Red, however, he did not have his Zoom profile set up to allow for screen sharing so he was unable to see the crowd from our video feed

Additional Notes: Could not connect to the VNC viewer/touchpad monitor in theater 2

Mics are still configured to work wirelessly off the mixer in theater 1 but additional mics will have to be wired to it for the Q&A tomorrow evening

Projection Admin 7/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
