NPP Projection Report 4/12 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: I think the DCPII drive might have died on us, it's not being recognized by the computer or the TMS. R.I.P. I don't think there was anything on there that hasn't been ingested.

Continuing to convert NoBudge shorts to DCP.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Zoom connection in T1 for the potential virtual Q&A after Cohen & Tate on Monday. It works well! The webcam is connected to the iMac, so we can do the Zoom call off that. Wireless mics are connected directly to the webcam, and they're also connected to the PA speakers. The iMac is connected to the projector as well. To get it on screen, just switch to blu-Ray 177 zoom on the projector and Non-Sync on the sound processor, have the PA speakers and Yamaha mixer on so the mic can be heard in the theater. Cristina will let us know once this is confirmed.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): La Chimera came through Deluxe, ingested it to T2.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): We received a print of Reality Bites from Universal which was meant for another theater. It got mixed up with The River Wild. DHL should be coming back tonight to pick up Reality Bites and drop off River Wild.

Print/video Inspection: Teched The Ambulance print, looks really nice! We also looked at the slides and went with the original image that Cristina sent, the one I built into the playlist. I deleted the other slide off the TMS and the server.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Attempted to replace the surround speaker in T3 that Jerry noticed has a blown woofer but ultimately had to put the old speaker back up on the wall. This is going to sound silly but some of the screws you have to take out of the new speaker to attach the mount to it would just not budge no matter what, I also didn't give myself a ton of time to do this so I had to just put the old speaker back. Never had trouble taking these screws out before so not sure what’s different. The old speaker sounds OK, shouldn't draw any complaints. I could barely hear the issue with the old speaker when I checked it after Jerry did. Tried taking the back cover off the new speaker to apply wd-40 to the screw without risking getting it on the electronics, but no luck so far. The screw heads are pretty tough to work with at this point so I’ll have to try something else in combination. Will of course keep trying.
