NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue:
-When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all
-Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active.
-This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. If the projector goes into this state during preshow or trailers, you will need to restart the projector in order to play the feature.
-If the projector goes into this state during feature playback, the feature will continue playing to the end (KDMs are only validated at the start of playback of encrypted content).
-If a playlist is running with the projector in this state, lighting, masking, projector control cues will work as normal, but cues automating the CP750 will not go through.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: For Spoons today, Michael and Nell were originally leaning towards the wired mics this morning since they said the issues on Thursday night were fairly serious. However I set up the wireless mics to check them and I adjusted some of the knobs on the Yamaha mixer. When they checked them they were happy with how the wireless mics sounded, so they opted to use them and keep the wired mics plugged in as a backup. I'm gonna play around with it some more to see what really did the trick, since they were happy with it I just left it as is for today, but I think adjusting some of the knobs will be pretty important for getting the best sound when we have the wireless mics connected to the Yamaha mixer. They used the wireless mics for the whole show. Everything's been broken down.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): I brought my DVD of Hot Potato (the title for this month's Shouting at the Screen). I ripped it and I feel like it'll probably look a bit better than the one we have. It's converting to DCP on the T1 iMac.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Don't Be A Menace, it's in great condition.

Put Cohen and Tate on house reels.

Started inspecting The Ambulance, got through the first two reels. It's in good shape.

Glanced at the Eyes Wide Shut pictures for my own viewing pleasure, and the print we got is hard matted? Very odd as Kubrick was super particular about the shots being composed for the 1.37 open matte frame and 1.85. When we showed this in '21, it was an open matte print, I still have pictures. Not sure why/when this print we have now would've been made but the matting indicates it came from a digital source. I'm probably nitpicking, I'll look at it on screen to see if there's a noticeable difference.
