NPP Projection 5/14 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: A little too much happening all at once this evening, between trivia coinciding with the start of the Dune (1984) pre-show, the latter needing a table set up in the lobby for its post-screening book sale and there not being enough tablecloths to spare for both events (trivia had to go without one so the table in the lobby could look presentable as it was covered in some sort of black paint and/or residue), finishing up admin work that couldn't really be started earlier to begin with since we've been slow to receive new content for our first run titles and some show playlists have yet to be built and scheduled, and with a plethora of guests in the mix as these two events are being readied and managed, it has been a humid and slightly flustering few hours but, alas, we've prevailed...

Presentation Issues: T6 went offline again during the penultimate round and a reboot was needed to restore the projector to working order -- thankfully there was time during one of the reels running in theater 1 for me to shuttle between booths and shutdown/disconnect the machine -- which was finished just in time for the IMB to reconnect and the show playlist started automatically

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up for trivia at Trees (sans tablecloth as described above) and gave the hosts a few more posters than was necessary since we needed to rid our cubby of some older titles + broke down the setup following the event and returned everything to storage

Made a few adjustments to the show playlist -- for masking and volume cues -- prior to its start but the Dune (1984) intro and screening this evening in theater 1 went very smoothly + cleaned the projectors after the show and set plates and lenses to 1.85 for The Flintstones screening tomorrow night

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Began ingesting Hit Man feature content to the TMS (Furiosa content is not yet available) + IF was locally ingested to theater 1 this afternoon

Ingested a handful of pre-show content that was downloaded to the DCPIV drive this afternoon (an updated Planet of the Apes_15min and Back to Black_5min file among others) update: these files failed to ingest -- double checked the folder content but can't see anything wrong with it

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Placed The Amazing Spider-Man 2 back on plastic and taped up its boxes for return shipping (Alec will ship this out along with the additional film that was spliced onto the rest of the print)

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Dune (1984) and packaged it for return shipping (this is set beside the boxes containing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 beneath the circuit breaker behind the sound rack in 1)

Additional Notes: Updated the white board in 4/6 with information for new first run titles + a guest requested a closed captioning device for the final round in theater 4 and this was put back to charge after the show ended
