NPP Projection Open 5/14


To do this evening/ was completed: An OS disk replacement for Theater 6 is on its way to DMS and should be there tomorrow. They'll then forward it to us. They think this is whats causing the issues we've been having with that server. -AL

Presentation Issues: The Challengers screening today was supposed to be a Babies screening and the regular playlist played instead. All Ages/Babies Playlists still need to be built for IF cause the first screenings every day are going to be All Ages/Babies and one for Back to Black.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I made some adjustments to the Carrie playlist including adding new clips and the updated intro slides with the Mubi logo on it. 

I also downloaded the updated Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Back to Black, and Action Policy that Kat sent over. It's on DCP IV but still needs to be ingested along with the Gasoline Rainbow trailer. 

Back to Black, Hit Man, and Furiosa still need to be built. 

Trailer Updates: 

Special Events/ AV set up: Desmond came by to check the volume on the Carrie Drag Show clips. It's all sounding good and loud for the two of us in the room, so it'll play perfect with a full house. There was one clip missing which was the Curtain Call which I have converted and added to the playlist. 

I set up the new wireless mic receivers and tested them. They work great. I tried it with mics from Theater 1 and Theater 2. It's very easy to set up and configure the receivers for the mics you're using. This is all going into the manual with pictures. -AL

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): I ingested the new Mubi trailer Gasoline Rainbow trailer. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingesting Search for Spock to T1.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (the projection reels) can get packed up tonight in the boxes. We're going to package the extras separately for Sony to pick up all together. -AL

Print/video Inspection: Desmond came to look at the first two reels of Kill Bill Vol. 2, which is looking and sounding great. 

Just noting I had to retighten the turret on P2 since it was jittering. This has happened before. When time permits a little better I'll take it apart and see if theres a piece that's causing it to come loose over time, it should be fine for tonight though, -AL

Put the rest of Flintstones and Kill Bill on house reels. -AL

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Checked screen/masking alignment in all houses for all ratios. -AL

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): I filled out the cue sheets for next week. All that's missing the timing of Hit Man and Furiosa. 

I scheduled automation through the week with the exception of Back to Black and the events.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
