NPP Projection Report 5/10 Close


To do this evening/ was completed: Mounted all the new Shure wireless mic equipment in the case, connected everything. Like I said I will test it out during the week.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the Carrie playlist. It still needs some cues, lights for credits and volume for the performance tracks and feature. All the content is there though.

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Kill Bill Vol. 2 and uploaded some pics to the drive.

Marquee updated?: Took down Ungentlemanly Warfare and Godzilla x Kong (can't have *two* destructive primate movies playing at the same time, can we?). I also rearranged the titles cause they were looking a bit randomly placed.

Posters updated?: I'll need to remind Matthew to pick up the archive tubes since we have so many full ones. But if you see him and you think of it, please mention it to him! Started a new tube as well.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
