NPP Projection Report 5/16 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Replaced the OS disk in the Theater 6 IMS. since this was looking like it would arrive later in the day I asked Paul to sell out the first round as it had no tickets sold. The disks arrived just before 3pm but it was still a good thing we blocked that first screening. After replacing the disk, performing the update, and restoring the backup I still could not open the controls using the IP for Theater 6. Spent a while on the phone with Chris from DMS figuring this out. Apparently the backup that the IMS automatically restored from when I replaced the OS set it to the wrong IP. This was all an issue with this particular backup file on the IMS and not the OS disk I installed. Chris eventually was able to figure out what the IP had been changed to, access the webpage for the IMS, and restore a different backup file which reset it to the correct IP. we were back up and running before the second round.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Checked volume for this week's trailers and added cues to the packs.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Carrie should go well tonight. Checked the playlist and told Will where all the spotlight settings are stored on the board.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Packed up the extra Spider-Man reels for Sony to pick up with the proper print.

Print/video Inspection: IF and Back to Black features teched and playlists updated. Checked Ponyo as well!

Reinspected and packed up Flintstones.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Added credits for Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (keys for this open tomorrow but the offset was in the KDM email). Filled in Ponyo after checking the DCP.

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?:

Additional Notes: Nobody showed for either of the staff screenings today. Shocking I know! I shut them off shortly into the features.

As I was following along with Chris working on the IP settings, I think I figured out a way to be able to access the TMS/IMS controls on the iMac downstairs without having to use Splashtop… we’ll see if I’m successful.
