NPP Projection Report 5/25 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Worked on getting some more preshows not currently in rotation backed up to our stationary external drive ("Preshows & Trailers") remember to check this if any older preshows get reused and we don't have them on the TMS, good chance they'll be on there! You can ingest directly from this drive so no downloading or copying between drives is necessary.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added the Far from Home feature to the playlist and updated the cue sheet. We got the extended cut of this, with a whopping 14 minutes of credits.

Built and scheduled the Free Time playlist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Bumped Band of Outsiders to 5.5 for the show today and updated the playlist.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Uploaded keys for Far from Home and Free Time.

Ingested Humanist Vampire to the TMS.

Sent Free Time and Humanist Vampire features to Theater 3.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Broke down the empty LFE driver box, saving it in case it may come in handy. Did some organizing also of both storage areas in 4/6.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
