To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 4 house lights are back to functioning normally now. Vlad informed us that the dimmer wire had been cut so that's why the settings were not coming on with the commands on the rack board. He reconnected that and disconnected the fluorescent that had been flickering but we still weren't getting either the sconces nor the other fluorescents to come on. Ultimately he left leaving the problem light disconnected and we were going to just have the two options (ceiling high hats on but too bright for preshow/credits/cleaning, and completely dark for trailers/feature) for now. When going over the details of the issue to explain the situation to MiT it occurred to me that the fixtures on two of the four channels (flourescents/cleaning lights and the wall sconces) would not come on no matter what and the fixtures on the other two channels (ceiling and hallway high hats) would come on but only 100% and could not be dimmed. So I reseated the channel inputs on the back of the light control board and that got all the channels to function and dim properly again. Reiterating that the light we've had flickering remains disconnected, but all other lights in this theater (except the one at the front corner which was disconnected a while ago) are working properly.-alec

I working on making some progress on this T6 issue with DMS. In the meantime, please keep an eye on it as it's going to keep happening. Continue to communicate with MODs when you need to restart the server. This should only have to be done between rounds, so the worst that will happen is we cut into the preshow. If the server goes "offline" at any point during the playlist playback, it will continue playing to the end, but lighting and volume changes will have to be done manually. -alec

Finished backing up the generic preshows not in rotation. I'll work on the SEs too. -alec

Tech'd Free Time and Drop Dead Gorgeous with programming, volumes logged.

Letters up for brunch/Indiana Jones.

Did some tidying under theater screens with the new vacuum.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled the private event playlists for Friday. -alec

Trailer Updates: We got a customer complaint about the Fall Guy previews so Kat decided to switch to the PG pack for this title. All playlists have been updated. -alec

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloading the Lesbian Bar Project DCP to the DCP IV drive. I've converted and ingested their intro/Q&A slide as well. For the feature download, they sent it to us via Dropbox which is always annoying to download through if you don't pay for storage. I used to be able to add the files to our synced Dropbox folder without upgrading our storage space which was a nice workaround, but it seems they've made this impossible now. The video file is downloading individually through Chrome, if Chrome says its finished make sure the downloaded file is at least 62.7 GB, it frequently happens downloading large files from Dropbox that Chrome will say it's done and give no error, but the file is in actuality too small. I think the audio downloaded fully and the rest of the files should be good, so once the video is finished you can try ingesting. -alec

^Update: first download completed improperly (49 gb video file) so I restarted the download. Keep an eye on it.
