Projection Admin 5/13

To do this evening/ was completed: Realized my blog didn't post from last night, so I'll also be recapping here.
Last night, we almost had a presentation issue - the server went down towards the end of the fourth round in T6 as waitstaff radioed me for cleaning lights during credits. I restarted the projector, which as per usual did the trick, and got the final round back up and running for preshow (8 minutes into preshow, not a huge loss). Emailed DMS. Went down the Google/film tech forum rabbit hole for potential answers.
*DMS emailed us back today - they've ordered a replacement part as per their theory of a failing OS disk/disk corruption, a procedure of which we recently had done in T2, if you recall. This all makes sense.  For the dowser issues in T1, I pulled logs/systems report(s) and passed them on to Chris. The log from the christie I haven't pulled yet, which I've shown Will how to do. If there's any issue, we can send this to them tomorrow.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Deleted the Mamma Mia playlist (along with other content we don't need) from this weekend.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Star Trek DCP is transcoding in T1. Will need another day to finish.

Wedding video for the private rental on 5/18 looks/sounds great in T3.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested new KMDs for Carrie and Civil War

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Pope of Greenwich fully inspected - print report available/pics up on the drive for Conrad.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Noticed when running loops today that on P2, the light distribution was massively off, eclipsing the second half of the screen. Before adjusting the turret, I checked 1.85 to see if there was a change and the issue was still there, so I adjusted the turret and when that didn't help, I decided to peer inside the the lamp house and through to where the shutter is. The c/o mechanism hadn't fully opened the top bit of its shutter. Ran loops again after fixing and that did the trick. Amazing Spiderman 2 ready to go this eve.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes.
