Projection Admin 5/20



To do this evening/ was completed: The rep for the Queen's Cartoonists reached out and will pay us a visit tomorrow at noon to check out our equipment. Alec confirmed that's an okay time for him tomorrow. Thank you, Alec! 

Note: I know I mentioned this in our chat already, but just for posterity - It was Matthew that took the bit of plexi glass out from the poster case where IF is. It was cracked so he removed it this morning and we'll be getting a new bit of glass for it by tomorrow. 

Checked in with Chenelle about the DVDs we have in the booth. She'll pick them up tomorrow!

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Sent some DCPs in advance to T1 and tech'd all of the Furiosa/George Miller preshow elements, forecasts, new trailers and slides for the Kill Bill double feature show. Made notes about the volumes and Will has adjusted the playlists. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked volume and credits info for Spiderman Homecoming tonight. Everything is in order. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Additional The Watchers and new Maxxxine posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): Free Time DCP will be coming via Deluxe! 

New Civil War keys uploaded. 

Reached out to Deluxe today to primarily get an eta for the DCP of Vol 2 (the print is only for Wednesday, I know this has been a little confusing), along with the KDMs, and to check in on the KDMs for Vol 1 as we're showing these for brunch and not just the double feature event this Wednesday. To my surprise, they mentioned the booking was cancelled for the DCP of volume 2. I reached out to our cinema team to make sure that the brunch screening of Vol 2 is definitely supposed to be a DCP. Desmond confirmed that's supposed to be a DCP and Cristina is reaching out to a rep at the distro to make sure we get this sorted, but we'll hang on to the print just in case. 

*One more note - just a reminder that Alec is waiting on the activation of our new account with Deluxe, so we can't access the portal to see what's pending, booked, etc, but he'll let us know when it's live. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Contacted Sony today so we can get a pickup scheduled for both The Amazing Spiderman and The Amazing Spiderman 2, along with the extra reels we received. They will arrive tomorrow for pickup. I left a little note on the prints in T1 just in case. 

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated today. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Pulled a detailed report from both the T6 IMS and the logs from the Christie to Chris so he can continue to investigate the issue we've been having. I reached out to a few technician friends to ask for their opinion on the matter and if they've ever experienced a similar issue. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. 

Marquee updated?: Yup! Will adjusted the marquee. 

Posters updated?: Yes! Will adjusted the posters today to make sure everything's up to date.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
