To do this evening/ was completed: We had Will's review today and had a good long chat. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Bad Education. 

Tech'd Babes which sounds great at 5.0!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Villain Edit preshow received and ingested. 

Received the CRU drive of Cora Bora. Ingested directly to T1. I took a look at this today and the image/sound is great. 

Checked the TMS for missing/about to expire KDMs and uploaded new keys for The Fall Guy/Challengers. 

We received three prints today! Crash, Bad Education, and Eagle's Shadow for SOF. Brought all of these down to T1. 

I started inspecting Crash (favorite Cronenberg movie, really wanted to see this one on the bench again. I'll finish it tomorrow!) but we'll also need Bad Education looked at this evening. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Coordination a couple techs with Cristina for tomorrow/Monday. 


Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Reorganized T2 booth quite thoroughly, especially all the equipment on the shelf and stray stuff on the rewind table. The platter tree and decks are more out of the way in the corner. Vacuumed up there as well. -alec

The battery for the vacuum lasted a good hour plus, but I ordered another one so we can have two kept fully charged. Do not use the drill's battery pack with the vacuum, even though it will power the vacuum. The drill battery has a lower amperage. -alec

Replaced the air filter in the T7 Christie. We have more of these filters for the smaller CP2215s and the filters for the larger CP2220s on the way, we are completely out of both now. The only one that needs changing at the moment, though, is T2. So I'll put a new one in once these arrive -alec

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
