NPP Projection Close 6/13

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: A bit of bleed on the curtains during the screening of Crash needed to be remedied with gaff tape...had some difficulty focusing at the top of the reels (reels running through projector 1 appeared a bit softer throughout while everything running through 2 was sharp once its lens was refocused during the opening credits)...the changeover from reels 1 to 2 was missed by a hair as wires connected to the digital projector were obstructing my view through the port glass window (these are now taped to the wall and are out of the way)

Special Events/ AV set up: Crash intro and screening in theater 1 went well

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Tuesday posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7 (added additional first run titles to the archive tube) + one of the producers of Make Me Famous was outside this evening and asked if she could provide us with a poster to display out front

Print/video Inspection: Placed Crash back on house reels for the staff screening Monday morning (both projectors were cleaned after the show this evening and the vents have been closed)

Projection Admin 7/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
