NPP Projection Report 6/8 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: The T6 house light manual controls are working normally. There were some wires connected to the back which went out to the automation console (for the Simplex projectors, which I removed from the wall since it's never been used and probably never will be) which, since they were disconnected from there, might have caused the manual controls to act strangely. I disconnected them from the back of the house light control console. One of these wires was severed (not sure when or by whom), that also could've been why. They are completely separate from the automation that happens on the network, the cues on the IMS are directly activating the scenes through the IP address for the house light console, so these hard wired scene cue inputs (the wires I disconnected today) are bypassed as the cue goes through the ethernet cable which connects to the back of the console. The first thing I checked was the automation cues for the house lights, and those were all working normally. It was just the manual controls (buttons 1-4) that were activating the wrong settings. After disconnecting those wires from the back, button controls are back to normal.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Exported some more SE preshows to the "Preshow & Trailers" drive.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Spoons set us was a breeze, thanks for leaving this out Thursday night. One note though, please remember to connect the XLR cables to the mic receiver with the corresponding number when setting up. The receivers are all labeled 1 through 3 on the front and back, and each XLR cable in the pouch on the rack case is labeled 1 through 3 at the male end. I'll label them at the female end, too, so it's easy to tell which is which when you're connecting them to the back of the receiver. Then make sure you plug each cable into the corresponding mic input on the Yamaha mixer. Michael mentioned to me that the mic channels on the mixer weren't corresponding with the mic numbers, and indeed cables 1 and 2 were switched when plugged into the receivers (cable 2 was plugged into receiver 1 and vice versa). Did the complete breakdown after their show.

The The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed Q&A was short and sweet, and went smoothly. Recording is in the Google Drive folder. Everything's broken down and returned to its proper place.
