To do this evening/ was completed: McKegg gave me a bell today about the shorts playing at WB tonight as they asked last min to make sure the DCPs are OCAP, the sub files of which were sent with each feature, but not burnt into the films. Talked him through burning them into the image - this is something I discovered whilst running way too many festivals at the film center in Chicago, when, a foreign film's subs were missing (they were not. you can look at already made DCPs in dcp-o-matic, single out the sub file, and burn it into the image with some adjustments so that they come up! it's quite neat, actually. I can go over this with everyone since it's very useful information). Since there was very little time to remake the dcps again with the subs burnt in, McKegg made two on his end and I went to make the other two, but the second was taking too long, so McKegg is working on it on his end since it's moving fast there. This is a courtesy anyhow. Uber connected the drive with the finished short on it to him. We won't immediately need this back. - L

Checked to make sure that tomorrow's babies playlist for Inside Out 2 is all set on the TMS. Since we've been it at 5.8 normally, I've adjusted it for 5.0 (it was 4.0 before, which is too low). - L

Presentation Issues: First round show playlist in theater 2 paused before it could begin as scheduled and needed to be played manually (only a 2 minute delay) -WB

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Received the Sandpiper slide from Cristina. Playlist is built! Initials are on the trailer sheet. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Smile 2 and It Ends with Us one sheets were delivered and stored behind 3/7 -WB

Ordering/Receiving (content): FYI- received the first set of keys for Maxxxine today, which must be for tech purposes as they'll only be open for the day (this Wednesday). I'll keep an eye on this.
Received and uploaded the keys for Despicable Me 4. Two sets came in- we're good until July 17th!
Jaws keys came in, too, which are good for all three screenings starting this Wednesday.
**Keys for Despicable Me 4 and Jaws will open up tomorrow! Please tech then. Thank you! - L

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Got rid of the 5.1 version of Jaws on the TMS. - L

Began downloading a zip file containing Little Shop of Horrors to the desktop in booth 1 (this should take at least 3 more hours complete and it can be transferred to a drive and ingested locally to theater 3) -WB

Print/video Inspection: Tech'd the Phantasm SPL in theater 1 for tonight's screening and adjusted the feature volume -WB

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Checked and updated a handful of titles today. - L

Maintenance/cleaning: Put together our new dolly for 3/7! It's a two pack, but I only built one as we already have one in 4/6. Screws are nice and tight, it's been labeled as the projection 3/7 dolly and is now hanging on the wall in the booth. Tbh, although it's almost the exact same model as the one we already have, the wood is a little on the less-sturdy side, but works just fine! Funnily enough, the first pack of screws was missing just one, so I took one from the second pack. Lucky we got two of everything! The other bits are back in the package and in the storage area in 4/6. - L

Reached out to DMS so that we could place an order for a new fan (card cage) in T2. Done! On its way soon. FYI- just leaving another note here that the warnings shouldn't pose any immediate threat to playback, it's just an additional cooling apparatus. That being said, I did notice our lamp in that theatre has half exceeded its life expectancy, so we will, of course, keep an eye on it. - L

Wiped down all port glass windows in booths 1, 2, 4, and 6 -WB
