NPP Projection Report 8/6 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Checked Twisters volume for the infants show in 3 this afternoon after some customer feedback that it hasn't been quiet enough. I thought it was good at 4.3. Updated next week's playlist.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: built both It Ends With Us playlists and Sundays on Fire. Friday 8/9 through Sunday 8/11 are scheduled.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Trivia tonight, checked the AV box in Trees and everything is in there.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested It Ends With Us to the TMS.

Angel print received.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Checked Blade Runner and set volume, playlist is good to go for tonight.

Teched The Blade print, looks and sounds good!

Chenelle dropped of a blu-ray of Magnolia for a private event on Sunday. It's been ripped and is ready to be DCP'd, audio is analyzing down in booth 1.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Yves from DMS was here to put the new ballast in the T6 Christie. After getting it in and replacing the lamp, he also adjusted the brightness and measured the colors with a light meter which was much appreciated. He said the screen was too bright and lowered the lamp power and adjusted its position to bring it down a bit. Everything is all good here and I gave the OK to open tomorrow's shows.

Changed ceiling bulbs in 3, 5, and 7.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Built next week's cues fully, all that's missing is Alien Romulus shows next Thursday.

Additional Notes: Reset all theaters after the fire alarm went off this morning. Theater 1 did not respond and I let DMS know.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
