To do this evening/ was completed: Ingested a load of KDMs. Note: Blink Twice will open up tomorrow, KDM for Some Like It Hot will open up Friday. Had our cinema meeting today and, as noted in the weekly update, we've got everything apart from Election (which should be coming in this evening and can get inspected) and the DCP of But I'm A Cheerleader. (update on cheerleader below!)

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: FYI We received a trigger warning title card for Blink Twice, which I added to the playlists. We're to received one as a DCP by satellite tonight, but I already DCP'd the title card and made it 30 seconds long instead of their 18 seconds slide, since that's not enough time to read the whole thing (at least in my opinion). - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Downloaded, DCP'd and ingested the last track for the performance section of But I'm A Cheerleader. 
Checked in with a few folks for more DCP drop-off info. Didn't sound like Adrian came by with the drive yesterday. L

Ran loops for Princess Mononoke tonight.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Looked into an eta for But I'm A Cheerleader and it came in almost seconds later! Ingested. Also, we got Pomp and Circumstance! it's now on the DCPIII drive and can get ingested to T3. Thanks! we can dcp the shorts tomorrow (they're on the light blue sandisk). L

Election print arrived, brought it up to booth 1 to inspected.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Got rid of playlists we don't need. L

Scheduled a pickup for Superstar for tomorrow and placed it on the cart.

Maintenance/cleaning: Took out the recycling in T4. Swept, mopped, wiped down the desk and took out the trash in T2. Updated the 4/6 whiteboard with September titles for Digital shows. - L

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Added some missing shows to the cue sheets/TMS for tomorrow and updated credits info for Election/Some Like It Hot. I adjusted the playlist for Some Like It Hot and added 3min of black w/house lights since there's basically no credits and otherwise, patrons would've been immediately bombarded with cleaning lights. L

Filled in timing for all of next week's special events, just missing end credit offset for But I'm a Cheerleader. L

Marquee updated?: Took down Superstar, pushed up Mononoke for tonight and added Summer of Sam below Detroit Rock City. Per Alec's suggestion, I was able to finish the marquee today with a bit of tape holding the rod in place, but he's ordered a new suction rod for us! L

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
