To do this evening/ was completed: Hello projectionists! This evening we just received the master doc for NewFest. I've shared the link with you all. The plan is that we won't be DCPing anything, we'll just be downloading and ingesting. I have sent an email out with more specific info on this and also just as a reminder should anyone miss this blog. I sent our microphone info to Kim this eve. - Lillian

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Finished off some A1 playlists this week, added in Thursday info on the cue sheets as well as the info for Wild Things. Poltergeist 3 playlist set. Ingested the slide. - Lillian

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops in theater 1 and focused lenses for The House by the Cemetery this evening -WB

Began ripping Megamind for a private event -WB

Spoke to Chenelle about the Megamind private event for 9/23. The DVD that came with the BluRay had a few short films on it, one of which is a tribute video for the kiddo's birthday. Got them all off the disc, DCP'd, ingested today. - Lillian

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Wolf Man posters were delivered and stored behind 3/7 -WB

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested keys for Blink Twice today. Reached out to Deluxe for an eta on the keys for My Old Ass and Transformers One. The keys for The Substance open up tomorrow, so it can get techd then! - Lillian

Maintenance/cleaning: Swept and mopped in booth 1 + cleaned the port glass windows -WB

NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
