NPP Projection Close 9/12

To do this evening/ was completed: Checked up on the booth in theater 2 during the first round's pre-show and fortunately did not see any signs of new and/or continued leaks or condensation coming from the A/C

Presentation Issues: The second round in theater 6 began normally but as soon as the feature started the screen went dark (despite all cues triggering correctly and the lamp being switched on/the dowser opening up) and there was no picture for a little over 5 minutes -- I brought the house lights up and rewound the film...for some reason closing and reopening the dowser seemed to fix this bug...at which point I played the feature from the start (the trigger warning slide into the feature) and the issue was resolved [note: I will start the next round manually because of the negative flip and keep an eye on it -- update: no trouble to report this round with the dowser malfunctioning or picture failing to project]

Special Events/ AV set up: Placed mics and chairs by the screen in theater 1 ahead of The Godfathers of Hardcore screening and corresponded with John Woods about additional event setup (he prepared a table at Trees Lounge for a book sale/signing) + recorded the Q&A after the screening and saved the video to the booth desktop

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
