Projection Admin 9/06

To do this evening/ was completed: Most packed day I've had in a minute. Releasing His Three Daughters today. 

I changed the lamp in T2, but checked out the brightness levels beforehand. Ultimately, we've had sensor issues in there for awhile and it's still somewhat of a mystery as to why the flickering keeps happening. No sensor issue post lamp installation and the light wizard setup went just fine, but beforehand, I had to clean out the dust/sand that got in from all the brick work. Scoping it out before installing the new lamp, there is a small circular piece of glass that the light both shines through and reflects off of, which had dirt inside that section and on it. I cleaned it up, along with the rest of the lamp house and the main reflector. Please let me know if anything looks particularly out of sorts this evening, but we should be okay for right now. We'll look into this further with DMS. Still somewhat of an earlier start tomorrow before the first round. Matthew was in this morning/afternoon. The workers will be shutting off the vent in the theatre 2 booth until about an hour and a half before we open. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: We received the new content from Kat today. Please start downloading and ingesting/building what you can and I will continue this tomorrow evening. Thank you  

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: After some troubleshooting, I got the DCP Amadeus to ingest. Rearranged some files into proper folders, and so forth, and it worked. It's still transferring to T2. The playlist is built but we'll need credits info added to both the playlist and the cue sheets. We can't tech this until 8pm when Beetlejuice is over, I will be ON CALL and available to head to another theatre to pick up a physical drive if need be. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): I am downloading the file for Godfathers of Hardcore through frame.io, which Ian sent today. Should finish up on the desktop soon, about 15-30 minutes. Don't know why it's been a week of tough downloads with different platforms here...PLEASE DO NOT exit out of Frame.io until its downloaded. Thank you!!

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Made labels and for One Eyed Jacks and Will brought the print down, got it taped up. 

Print/video Inspection: House By The Cemetery can still get inspected. 

Tech'd Madam Satan with Cristina in T1, then headed over to T3 to tech Spirit Riser and the short film, Triangular Door. 

Madam Satan looks and sounds great! It is 1.37 so I changed the lenses back to 1.85 for this weekend's Welcome to the Dollhouse. You'll absolutely still want to run loops though, of course, for posterity. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Jared told me the tables hadn't been put back from last night in T1 and I found that a lot of the xlrs hadn't been fully put away. Please remember to properly coil and put everything back (take down the dmx cable, aja, and the xlr cables in the receiver so you can pack it up nicely. We just don't want dust getting in there. It's also better for the Aja and ethernet cable/hdmi to be stored and not on the floor. We're not really using it loads, so best to keep it in the bin. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Amadeus info needs to be filled out! I filled out sat and sun info for Welcome to the Dollhouse. 

Marquee updated?: Took down It Ends With Us and put up His Three Daughters, I also put up Welcome to the Dollhouse on 35mm on the brunch side of the marquee 

Posters updated?: Yes. Took down It Ends With Us and put up His Three Daughters
Received the poster for A Complete Unknown (this is the Bob Dylan biopic) Stored and labeled in 3/7.
