Projection Close 9/14



To do this evening/ was completed: Kept a keen eye on em, but no issues in theatre 6 or theatre 7 this evening for all late rounds. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Transformers One, and built more SE playlists: Jailhouse 41 & Donnie Darko. Still waiting to receive The Breakfast Club, The Harvest, and the slide/35mm trailer for Poltergeist III. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Looking a little ahead, I remembered the DVD that was supposed to be dropped off yesterday for the private event on 9/23. Found it in the lobby and my lord was it sticky. Not sure if this is the fault of the 13 year old who dropped it off (it's his birthday. happy birthday, Dylan) or if it got stuff on it at lobby bar. Either way, I got the gunk off and it's in the booth.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded and ingested preshow content for Transformers One - robots 25min, 15min, and transformersone 5min. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Deleted SE playlists we don't need. 

Print/video Inspection:

Maintenance/cleaning: Gave the 4/6 booth a massive sweep and mop. There's a new cartridge in the swiffer.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
