NPP Projection Close 10/22
To do this evening/ was completed:
Presentation Issues: During the trailers for the last round in theater 2, as I was setting up the projectors in booth 1 downstairs for the show there, I accidentally flipped a switch labeled "Th 2 Ramp Emergency Lights" on the booth 1 breaker panel -- this is just beneath the switch I meant to hit to power on the 35mm projectors -- causing three emergency lights at the back of theater 2 and another just outside the guest entrance in the hallway to turn on. These remained on for the duration of the film, much to my embarrassment and, despite every attempt to turn them off, I was unable to before the print in theater 1 needed to be started. I communicated with Lillian over the phone, who was in touch with Matthew, in addition to the MODs on site. Strangely enough, however, when I went to check on the status of the lights in theater 2 after the shows concluded, all three emergency lights had shut off except for the one outside the theater. I am not sure what caused these to turn off (the shutdown cue scheduled in theater 2, perhaps?) or what kept the one in the hallway struck but, it is safe to say I will be more careful when handling the circuit breaker panel in booth 1 and apologize for any and all inconveniences caused by my mistake.

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up for trivia at Trees this afternoon and noticed the mics had been left turned on from NewFest -- the bench panel door was locked and the DJ key is missing -- I spoke with McKegg and Lillian about its whereabouts but the search for it came up short (update: realized at the last minute that the DJ volume dial was turned down and Shay could not play audio from her laptop so I had to bend the door to the panel ever so slightly and squeeze a finger inside to raise the volume -- Lillian found the key at home and will return it -- I am going to leave the projector volume off to avoid any feedback from the Plex content)
Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):
Ordering/Receiving (content): Any Given Sunday and Village of the Damned prints were delivered and brought up to booth 1 (these are currently in the corner by the equipment closet nearest the rewind bench and do not screen until next month so they can wait for inspection)
Outgoing/Shipping (content):
Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Christine and packaged it for return shipping -- it is at the bottom of the steps to booth 1 (additionally, I scheduled a return pickup for The Devil's Backbone but the printer in the MOD office was malfunctioning all evening and I could not print return forms so I cancelled this and left the canisters at the top of the steps to booth 1)
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
Maintenance/cleaning:
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked and initialed for confirmation -- everything for tomorrow should be set
Marquee updated?: I did not have a chance to get to it this evening but The Devil's Backbone and Christine can be taken down and replaced in the coming days
Posters updated?: Took down the NewFest posters in the lobby and replaced them with one sheets for A Real Pain and Heretic under coming soon snipes (I left posters for Anora and Conclave on the workbench behind 3/7 -- these can be put outside tomorrow night and/or once these features open on Thursday)
Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes
