NPP Projection Close 10/23



To do this evening/ was completed: Inspected Village of the Damned. It's in great condition. On house reels. Stills uploaded to Drive, Conrad notified.

Welcome Home Brother Charles TMS ingest failed about ninety minutes in. There was stuff downloading to the preshow drive when I noticed this so I'm assuming the drive was simply disconnected from the TMS too soon. I reattempted the ingest, which was immediately successful. Transferred the feature content to T2 and took a look at it on screen toward the end of the night, seems good, but I'd recommend another look during admin tech tomorrow just to make sure the two-part ingest had no effect. 4.0 volume seemed good too.

Built a playlist for Shouting at the Screen that will need to be updated with the necessary transitional cues.

Uploaded keys for 5000 Fingers of Dr T.

Downloaded and ingested the PSA_BoozeAnniversary_2024 trailer that Kat linked this morning. This has been attached to the 10/25 PG-13 and R-rated trailer packs.

No issues with T2 this evening.

Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
