Projection Admin 10/28

To do this evening/ was completed: Important information concerning the private event in T7 tomorrow for The Orphan: I went to go test this out in T7 today and whilst image and sound are operating as per normal with the hdmi connection and rca, I saw that Prime Video would be removing the film in four days, plus the AD feature was removed, which is the only reason we decided to use the Prime Video app in the first place because it is, or was, the only way to get this movie with AD. I spent awhile on the phone with customer service for this, then pulled up my Paramount and Apple TV accounts to see if they would have the AD feature for this movie. None of them did, but I contacted their tech support anyway. I finally got a hold of someone on the Amazon team who confirmed my suspicion by saying that they did, in fact, just remove the AD option because they're removing the film soon...incredibly annoying that they just decided to do this. That being said, I spoke to Chenelle about everything throughout the day and let her know that all my accounts are open and available to use, particularly Apple TV and Prime Video and if the hosts would like to pick another movie of their choice that has an AD option on those streaming services, then we can do that, or they can watch one of our A1s if that's appropriate. I offered to speak with the hosts myself, too, but Chenelle is relaying this information to them. So for now, we're on standby with content. - Lillian (fyi - if you're using the web browser tomorrow, your settings for sound should be just fine, but if you'r using an app, double check that the settings in there are all good.)

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: All A1 playlists for the week of 11/01 have now been built plus the SE playlists for Village of the Damned and American Movie. Waiting on the slide for Seven Samurai. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Went through the entire playlist for the double feature this evening. Made a few adjustments to volume for various preshow clips. We won't be using the PA for the mics, just regular playlist cues for the processor. I figured it would be easier this way since there can be a little bit of a low drum if they're on, despite the mics being turned off, and I don't want Allie and Shay to have to worry about that (or us since we gotta stick to the booth), so there's cues in all the right places including some added intermission cues for the mics to come on in case they want to speak during that, too. You can consult with them on that if need be. Please look over the playlist and event memo! Thanks! - L

Tech'd the first reel of New Moon and Village of the Damned with Desmond this afternoon. Projectors are all set for this evening, but double check focus as always. I adjusted the right lens ever so slightly because it looked somewhat tilted and off center. Also, Village of the Damned looks great! - L

Made a Google Drive folder with a bunch of photos and a few videos to share with Kevin from the event on Saturday. Just a little bts for him.   -L
