To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: MODs radioed saying the trailer volume for Wicked in theater 1 was lower than normal...the playlists had no change between the generic content and the trailers themselves so I raised the cue to 4.0...went into the auditorium to hear the difference as the trailer for Mufasa was beginning...much to my amusement I saw it had Spanish subtitles and later changed it back to the English version in the PG trailer pack (update: had to raise the feature volume for Wicked to 6.5 for the sold out crowd and adjusted this in the show playlists for what will inevitably be a busy weekend of similarly booked screenings)

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Live event in theater 1 this evening went well...waited until the final screening ended to put everything tucked beneath the curtain away in its proper storage since there was limited time between rounds

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Desmond sent an mp4 file containing feature content for Lenny which is being downloaded to the Almodovar drive (update: this version had a commentary track on it so Desmond sent a separate file with Italian and English versions -- ran this through Handbrake to isolate the English audio and later began converting it to DCP)

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Double checked the TMS to make sure all outgoing feature content had been removed (deleted pre-show content for The Substance)

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes (well, I see now Lillian checked and initialed earlier this afternoon, so I double checked and everything is good to go tomorrow)

Posters updated?: Additional posters for Babygirl, Dog Man, and Snow White and one sheets for The Amateur and The Bad Guys 2 were delivered and stored behind 3/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
