Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd Gladiator and Wicked, both of which look and sound great. I adjusted volume for both of them. I actually brought Wicked up to 5.8. Updated the school screening for that show, including both staff screenings tomorrow. Tech'd The Pit, too. Looks and sounds great. Cue sheet info updated. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Since we're using the hdmi equipment (extender - receiver/transmitter) from T1 for T4 this weekend, I pulled the same equipment from T2 to use in 1 for Queen's Cartoons tonight. Rallied up all the mics, tested image with the extender, then Alec and I setup with the musicians. All of our mic stands are in there. Alec ran through levels on the board with them. We're all setup. I went over the playlist with Will. - L
-They have a bassist coming in right before the show, and I'm staying until this starts to make sure everything goes alright. For the breakdown, just about all the XLR cables are ours, and all of the Shure mics and mic stands are ours, too. They brought some of their own mics but they look very different than our wired ones so it will be easy to tell. They'll also know what's theirs and what isn't. -AL

In communication with the folks from Paramount for the MTV private in December. Not sure if they need our certs for T7, but I asked just in case. We should be receiving the DCP by satellite tomorrow. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded and ingested all the Moana 2 preshow content and built the playlists. I will update the PG trailer packs tomorrow, when it's appropriate. 

*Also we received an ingest letter for The Handmaiden. I checked the calendars and looks like this plays late January.  I am ingesting this. 

Received an ingest letter for The Matrix DCP, but it's not available yet. Probably will be tomorrow. 

Reached out to John/Desmond about Lenny and Desmond will, I think, be sending us a file. This screens Tuesday, so we'll make sure this gets top priority. - L

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
