NPP Projection Admin 12/13

To do this evening/ was completed: Removed outgoing content from TMS and build new 12/20 A1 playlists, 12/20 forecasts downloaded and ingested.

Tech'd Turbulence, built playlist with sound and lights cues. Trailer list includes "slide for Love Actually film feast". I did not include that in the playlist but should probably double-check with Kat.

Fisher King print picked up.

Flow letters and poster up out front.

Added projector lamp on and off quick cues to Screenwriter interface. Lightning bolt symbols for those cues.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd Little Women and adjusted the cue sheets. I also made a note about Scrooged for Rebecca on the Monday sheet so that they know we'll add in the info once the keys are live (Sunday they open!). - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The DCP of Space Jam is done and is now copying over to the DCPIII drive in T1 - once it's finished, please ingest to T2! Thank you! - L

Print/video Inspection: Ran Jumanji for Desmond today. Volume has been noted on the white card, among other info. It's definitely Dolby A. - L

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned out the T4 projectors and deep cleaned the gates before running film. Put a little more grease on the gears and cleaned out some new gunk. 
I ordered clear disposable gloves for grease maintenance - just makes things a lot easier. 
I also ordered new 2 pin bulbs for the benches (one can be backup) but they'll be more on the cool side as opposed to the warm light. We don't actually want warm light. - LH

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
