To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: First round in theater 2 loaded successfully but paused before playback could start properly (figured this might happen and caught it right as the playlist was scheduled to begin)

Second round in theater 5 was delayed ten minutes since no show playlist was scheduled (overlap between end and start times) and I was busy helping a guest in theater 7

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Began scheduling show playlists on Screenwriter for the week of 12/27

Built show playlists for The Apartment and Hook

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Brought down an assisted listening device to theater 7 (OCAP screening of Anora) after some confusion about whether or not the guest needed a closed captioning device -- I was told this is what they requested but realized once the guest mentioned needing sound there had been a miscommunication

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Removed Don't Look Back feature content from theater 4 following its screening this morning 

Print/video Inspection: Tech'd It's a Wonderful Life between rounds + raised the volume and added a minute of black to the end of the feature to bring the house lights up following a very brief crawl

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated cues for It's a Wonderful Life so it is now marked as a "CINEMA" screening as there was some confusion this morning with Elf and Don't Look Back which had not been noted as such

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
