NPP Projection Close 12/19

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Went through all 12/20 first run show playlists and double checked that the correct forecasts were built into each one

Brought down the feature volume for all Sonic 3 show playlists since the film sounded a tad loud at 5.5 (it is currently at 5.2 but can be brought up and saved/synced if crowds expand over the weekend)

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Insomnia screening in theater 4 this evening went swimmingly

Scheduled the show playlist for the programmers' tech screening of Presence tomorrow afternoon

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Slides for Cotton Comes to Harlem and Popeye were received, converted to DCP, and saved to the P&T hard drive

Heat is currently transcoding in DCP-o-matic in booth 1 for a private event in T6 on 1/5

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Insomnia after the screening and packaged it for return shipping (I will print return labels and schedule a pickup for it when I'm back in tomorrow morning)

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Swept and mopped in booth 2 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Additional Notes: There is a putrid smell coming from behind 3/7 and I have no idea what is causing it...the door has been left open to allow some fresh air in for the time being

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. Projection Close 8/26 Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
