NPP Projection Close 12/4

To do this evening/ was completed: Attended the projection meeting this morning and took in as much about Screenwriter as possible through the morning fog of my barely awake brain (later touched base with Lillian about executing commands/cues and navigating the various tabs/menus throughout the software)

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built show playlists for The Birdcage and Good Will Hunting via the IMS in theater 3 (both features will need lights up cues added for their credits) + transferred content to theater 4 and built a pre-show playlist for The Fisher King

Built a pre-show for the Sundays on Fire screening on 12/8 (this is saved as "SOFTheTriadZone")

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ghost in the Shell 2 screening in theater 1 this evening went very smoothly

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Two 27x40 foam board posters for the Frida event were delivered and stored behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): Prints for The Fisher King and Julie Darling were delivered and brought to booth 4

Downloaded and ingested keys for Good Will Hunting

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected Ghost in the Shell 2 after the show concluded and scheduled a return pickup for tomorrow morning (tracking ID: 770505471678)

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
