NPP Projection Open 12/25

To do this evening/ was completed: Outgoing letters down, new first runs up. Same with posters except for Gladiator II. The poster case key snapped off inside of the lock and I was not able to pull it out, so we'll have to re-attempt soon.*

Minor presentation issue front-of-house-wise, but: T1 round one Nosferatu: the 1.66 masking cue failed to trigger when the feature came on, so I just hit the cue through quick controls in the IMS to bring the curtains in. I looked at the 12/20 playlist and the masking pack is included in full when you go to Content > Playlists in Screenwriter. But, if you click on T1 in the Screen tab of Screenwriter and scroll down to that masking pack you would see that only the lens channel cue is included, the masking cues are not there. This absence goes for the IMS too when you look at the playlist in Editor. I ran the 1.66 lens/mask pack in T1 through the IMS after the screening and it executed normally. I'm not totally sure why this automation failure/absence occurred but when looking at the pack I saw that the recently built "1.37 or 1.66 mask" cue was attached to it (I know that Alec mentioned this in a recent blog) along with the regular 1.66 mask cue right after it. So I moved the "1.37 or 1.66 mask" cue after the regular 1.66 mask cue so that that cue would fire first, added this updated pack to the Nosferatu playlist and hit Save and Sync in Screenwriter. Not sure if this will rectify the total absence of either masking cue on the playback pages. I'm assuming it's some sort of save and sync thing in Screenwriter.

In between rounds in T2, before the Nosferatu screening, I tested the updated 1.66 pack and it automated masking correctly. I told Will about the issue and he'll keep his eyes on T2 and 3. *I only updated 12/20 CCAP Nosferatu playlist so we'll need to check on the others going forward.*

Also, after the first round in T1 concluded, I had to start the second round manually, and I kept getting a warning message in the IMS saying that "the scheduled playlist "Shutdown" is going to start soon" even though that wasn't scheduled until the end of the night. A little alarming but the shows played fine.

Another weird thing I've noticed about Screenwriter: sometimes, when I'm on the Screen tab and I click on a server, the Screen > Playback page will show the wrong content inside of the correct playlist. For example, when I click on round two T2 Nosferatu, it displays the correct playlist title but all of the preshow content and feature are Complete Unknown elements, which was the show that ran before this one. What you have to do is refresh that Playback page even though you've already clicked on it moments prior, and then the correct content will appear in the playback timeline.

T2 booth swept and mopped.

Outgoing content (Gladiator, Conclave, Queer) removed from servers.

I saw the emails about the new Splashtop password. I'm not sure how that pertains to this but: at the moment you can only access 3/7 and T6 PCs through Splashtop. iMac 4/6 is greyed out. I went to the settings menu and saw that 4/6 has been offline since 12/20. There is an option to "wake up" the selected device (4/6 in this instance) but that didn't bring it back online.
