NPP Projection Report 1/25 Open
To do this evening/ was completed: More Plex/Projector trouble in Trees. Content from Plex kept freezing (I restarted the iMac last week and this seemed to fix it but it kept happening today). I was downloading A Very Curious Girl on the 4/6 iMac (more on that below), but when the issue with Plex kept happening I canceled the download, restarted the iMac, and also cleared a lot of large old files from the internal hard drive, which I think was a factor in the computer being a bit laggy lately. At least it was super laggy when I was trying to sort out this Plex issue, until I restarted it and cleared things off the internal hard drive. Smooth sailing since then I believe. Pretty strange about the projector turning itself off, I will have to look into it during the week.
Presentation Issues:
Preshow Clips/Playlist:
Trailer Updates:
Special Events/ AV set up: California Split went nicely. Full room so I cranked the volume to 8.0 on both processors and recommend doing the same for the show tomorrow. Reels rewound, projectors cleaned.
Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):
Ordering/Receiving (content): I started downloading A Very Curious Girl again, this time to the Almodovar drive. This is in progress on the booth 1 iMac. For whatever reason, the download completed to the share folder overnight but did not get ingested to the LMS... and all the component files were deleted from the share folder (like what happens after the DCP gets ingested to the LMS), so I couldn't copy it to a drive. Please ingest to the LMS when the download finishes, should be some time tonight. I think the issue was using Cyberduck to download directly to the share folder.
Outgoing/Shipping (content):
Print/video Inspection:
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
Maintenance/cleaning:
Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):
Marquee updated?:
Posters updated?:
Cleaning lights on for the night?:
Projection cart by entrance?:
Additional Notes: Lotta ADA stuff today, two seats removed for the current round of Nosferatu in T3 and a closed caption device given out for The Brutalist in T2 (made sure it was a fully charged one). I put a reminder on the whiteboard to return/collect those when the features are done!
