To do this evening/ was completed: Alec stopped by this morning to pickup the speaker tripods for WB. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd the preshow Don't Go In There and new Ridiculous Sublime. 

Tech'd Presence, Wages of Fear, took another look at the playlist for Dark Angel. Brought the sound up a bit to compensate for bodies. 

*North By Northwest KDM opens tomorrow. 

*KDM for The Handmaiden not delivered yet. 

*KDM for Short Cuts not delivered yet. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Dark Angel ready to go. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received/ingested Army of Darkness to the TMS. 

Received the file for Shouting at the Screen, Truck Turner, which I downloaded to the desktop. This is transcoding in DCP-o-matic to the Almodovar drive. Should take a little while longer. Please ingest it tonight, if possible. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Deleted SE playlists from yesterday. Deleted Jimmy Dean, Drag show content. 

Print/video Inspection: Changed the lenses to Scope in T4, adjusted the port tape a little, ran loops for California Split this weekend. Since the print came in yesterday, I ran a reel just to check it out and snag volume. Volume has been noted on the white card. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Scope lenses cleaned. Projectors set. Checked the grease and oil.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
