Projection Admin 1/8


To do this evening/ was completed: Had a fun time running around the theater looking for mic stands today. I could only find 6 and I swear we had more than this. Please keep your eyes peeled for these, and if you see any return them to the bag in the Trees closet (where they should all be going after being used for events, except maybe 3 staying in T1 for Spoons). The bag is currently empty, there are 4 in T2 and 2 in T1, all of which will be used tomorrow -AL

Weekly update is out - please get your eyes on it as soon as you can! I have notes on PTO changes and housekeeping in there, so confirm with me that you've ready everything. Thanks! 
Staff Screenings have been built and scheduled on both the TMS and Google Calendar. I made a poll for old/current shows this morning since we're not opening Brutalist for another week.  LH

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the following playlists for SEs/A1 this week: Conclave, Voyage...,Brewster McCloud, All We Can Imagine, Sundays on Fire. - LH

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up pretty much everything for the private event in T2 tomorrow. I had to take one of the wireless mic receivers out of the rack in the booth cause they're going to need 4, and possibly sound from their laptop, too. Will put it back in after the event tomorrow. The PA speakers are set up. Heads up, we have Spoons in T1 tomorrow night. We'll be able to set just about everything for that up while the private is happening in 2, but the wireless mic receiver case will be in use throughout this event. I'll pack it up as soon as they finish and bring it into T1. -AL

Making a 3hr loop of the Nets logo for the Trees TVs tomorrow. Exporting directly onto the VHS Vault drive into a folder called "Brooklyn Nets 2025" -AL

Downloaded and ingested Year One, transferred lots of preshow content, deleted playlists we don't need. The new Reconsider This preshow is still uploading to the drive. It will be for Popeye! Check on it this eve, if you want. - LH

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
