NPP Projection Close 2/6

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Ran into some trouble at the start of the final round in theater 3 this evening (The Brutalist @ 8:30PM) since the content did not load properly. Showtimes in this auditorium and theater 7 have been stacked back to back all afternoon and evening which has caused similar issues/delays in the past. The projector went offline at the end of the previous round so I was unable to load any content from Screenwriter or the IMS. I shut down the lamp and power cycled the machine once its cool down was complete which allowed me to load the show playlist. This initial confusion and the time taken to troubleshoot everything caused a near 30 minute delay to the start of the programming so I ended up having to skip ahead in the playlist to the beginning of the trailer pack -- leaving the house lights up for their duration so the servers could continue taking orders -- and brought them down manually once the feature was on screen. This all coincided with the start of the STB event in one, so once everything was sorted in three I ran upstairs to assist the hosts with finishing their setup.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: As mentioned above, the STB setup in theater one was delayed ever so slightly because of the mess in theater three but Lillian had already prepped everything this afternoon so I was quick to pull out all the gear and set it all on the table beside the screen. The hosts, naturally, decided to throw a spanner in the works by requesting mic stands which I swear on my life they have not asked for the past couple times they have hosted, so as soon as I got those out and swapped out the mounts for the mics I rushed to booth 1 to switch on the motor for the moving spots and changed the audio channel to Non-Sync from the sound rack. Guests filed in as the lights were brought down, cereal was served, and the rest is history. (Note: I am going to try my best to organize the wires for the STB event on Saturday but these are bound to fall victim to spaghettification the moment they are moved as there never seems to be enough slack to spare and Michael loves having that mixer on the desk next to him...update: I have left everything as organized as possible beneath a table cloth on the right hand side of the screen)

Mics were brought up to booth 1 to charge following STB + the mixer/spot control board and motor switch for the spots were all shut off
