Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I adjsuted the 1.90 lens channel in T3 since the Oscar documentaries showing in there next week are both in this ratio. This fits in the 1.85 masking, I added a cue to switch the channel to both Sugarcane and Porcelain War playlists -AL


Shouting at the Screen is all set in T2. Setup the wireless mic received - everything's been tested. Have been charging the bluetooth remote in 4/6. It's good to go. I tested image and sound again just for posterity. If the slideshow needs sound, use Digital 4 on the processor. No extra audio cable for the aja - just hdmi. - Lillian 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the DCP of Black Box Diaries - downloaded this and it's currently ingesting to the LMS. 
Had some computer issues in 4/6 this morning so I've got the new version of The Manchurian Candidate transcoding in in 4/6 and T1, so please just keep an eye on these and we'll use whichever one finishes first. - Lillian 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Reinspected the first 3 reels of Malcolm X (do not be confused by the increase in number identification for base scratches. This print was more beat up than I thought it was, given the rather glowing report it received from its first inspection. It can be hard to see damage sometimes (especially pesky horizontal scratches rather than vertical ones until it's onscreen). - Lillian

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: 3 % lamp life left in T5 before the warning. If we weren't opening early on Sat and Sun, I'd change it Monday (which is when the warning should actually crop up), but rather than risk it, I'll change the lamp tomorrow morning so that we don't run into any issues over the weekend. Also, we'll be returning the rca cables we received (they are, for some odd reason, not the right size but). Longer ones are on the way. - Lillian 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes

Marquee updated?: Added The Monkey to the front of the marquee. Added Demons 2 to the 35mm side, took down Malcolm X, rearranged the titles so that the dates are in order. - Lil

Posters updated?: Added a Now Showing banner to The Monkey. - Lil

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
