Special Events/ AV set up: Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge

Set up for This Day and Age intro was a whole thing since only one of the two required mics was set up and tested + the spotlight remote for theater 4 is nowhere to be found** (lots of up and down to grab the spare mic, turn off the spotlight switch in 3, and grab the spotlight remote from 3 to use upstairs in 4)  

**The spotlight remote for 4 was left on top of the digital projector and completely camouflaged; only noticed it during Cristina's intro**

Screening went very smoothly + left both mics in the A/V bin in theater 4 and returned the spots remote to theater 3 (all spotlight switches are currently turned off)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Deluxe emailed about releasing content for Compensation but the feature file is not yet available on the Deluxe FilmVault tab (keep an eye out for this tomorrow)

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Sent the Q&A recording for the Broken Social Scene event last week to John Woods via the shared drive

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected This Day and Age following the show and left the canisters up in booth 4 (the print is from NBCUniversal so DHL will have to be contacted for a return pickup)

X/1999 finished running through Handbrake this evening and noticed the audio for the film cuts in and out in huge gaps. I tried watching it with QuickTime and the VLC player but it crashed both systems after a few moments. Uploaded the content to DCP-o-matic and playback was fine but the audio issue persisted so it was hard to tell if the new subtitles were in sync because everything kept cutting out

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned both projectors in booth 4 following the show (noticed during the screening that the changeover switch on projector #2 is sticking a bit...could use an adjustment)

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection 6/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: PS107's event in theater 2 went smoothly and the mics were returned to the booth to charge following the show Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening The Matrix Revolutions screening in theater 1 went well save for some alternating of volume levels throughout as the audio for the first few reels was very hushed compared to how loud the rest of it gets once the action starts in reels 4-7 (mics were returned to the booth to charge and both projectors were cleaned + exhausts shut) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Received copies of  Best in Show and The Princess Bride for upcoming private events this week and began ripping  Best in Show through MakeMKV and HandBrake (update: the film is running through DCP-o-matic and should finish within 24 hours) Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection:  The...
