NPP Projection Open 7/3



To do this evening/ was completed: I added a Fire Alarm section to Quick Controls in each IMS for theatres, 1, 2, 4, 5 & 6 with the Fire Alarm Pause and Fire Alarm Reset cues so that they're readily available. You could also use the automation "execute now," but I think it's nice to have the cues in quick controls. NPP Manual has been updated with the new information (sans 3/7). - Lillian 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded the Summer_25min preshow and after some finagling, got it ingested to LMS, but it says "CPL is corrupt," but Lillian said it should be fine.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: We continued the NoBudge DCP making today, with having to redo Opener on the desktop in 4/6. (Not sure what happened last night), and I've got Dead Serious transcoding in T1. I put Repatriados and The Right to Remain Silent video files on the George Ivan drive so you can DCP those in T1 and do the rest in 4/6.  - Lillian

Note: Keys for Top Gun will come in tomorrow (or late tonight!) and keys for Deep Blue Sea have been ingested but will become valid tomorrow morning, so I'll tech tomorrow - Lillian 

Leon Chase (for Hank's Saloon) came by this evening to drop off the DCP. I've got this ingesting to the LMS now (from share drive). I'll touch base with him tomorrow morning to let him know that it's ingested/screen ready for a tech on Monday. Not sure what time yet (for Monday) but we'll sort that out tomorrow. - Lillian

Marquee updated?: I did mention this the other day, but today I took down Three on a Match and put up Desperately Seeking Susan. Moved the titles up a space so that they're in order. I also added "on 35mm" to the brunch side for Do the right thing. - Lillian 

Posters updated?: I put Superman up outside in Coming Soon and I Know What You Did Last Summer inside in Coming Soon

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
