Projection Close 7/21 Lillian/McKegg

To do this evening/ was completed: McKegg and I were on tonight to tag team the three events we had going on here tonight. Overall, everything went well, but I definitely have a few notes. See below. 

Once I finished the print I took over for McKegg in T1. 

We were both able to kick off NoBudge/Vanisher

Special Events/ AV set up: Tango and Cash went very well in T4 and I had a lot of fun projecting it. Tough print to focus, but it looked great! Full house for that one. 

NoBudge was moving perfectly until the dowser got caught during a lens change for one of the shorts towards the end of the program - during the lens/masking change to 1.66 for Right to Remain Silent. Desmond radioed and I saw on the christie touch panel that the icon for dowser open was, in fact, on, but once I saw that it wasn't physically open, I hit "close" then "open" again and it worked. Quickly rewound to the beginning. The whole thing was relatively quick. No issues other than that. Full house. We will assess the dowser. 

Another full house with folks showing up early and in a line that went out the door and around the building. Vanisher (private event) was also moving perfectly until the very end, when, randomly and about ten seconds into the Q&A, the playlist advanced despite the server pause cue. I was on the computer and went to go open a tab for screenwriter to check in on other shows so once I heard the clicks in the booth to indicate that it was advancing, I immediately brought the lights down and got the slide up. It was also very quick but I don't know how this could have happened so I'm chalking it up to a lag with the mouse and that, when moving it to open another tab, I accidentally hit the play button. 

Also, one more thing (and this is maybe just more a me thing) but although the playlist was correct, there was no masking cue for the Vanisher slide, which I think would've looked nicer. I assumed it was 1.78 or 1.85 as most slides are (plus there was no ratio indication in the cpl - however! I forgot that if you pull up the content in screenwriter and click on it, you can see that info even if it's not listed in the title. great feature for those that don't know). Anyway, the slide was 1.33. I didn't adjust the masking because I wasn't entirely sure what it was at the time and was afraid it might not be a real ratio, so I left it as to not draw attention to anything. It went fine, and I know this might be nitpicking, but I think we should mask it next time, should we get another slide like that. Host and crew are happy. Gave them their drive back.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): So, I caught this way, way before the show so it wasn't an issue, but the information on the sheets for Vanisher was not the same as the event memo. The info on the event memo was correct with a start time of 10:15 for the intro, but the cue sheets said 10, with a few other mistakes of course since that would change the Q&A info. I checked in with Chenelle and she confirmed the accurate info for me, which I updated on the sheets so MOD could print again.
