Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will



To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning. 

Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight. 

Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday). Additionally, I updated the orange wash w/spots setting since it was looking pretty dull, now it's much brighter, more pigment, etc. Reached out to Desmond and let Jack know that the DCP of Thelma is, unfortunately, slightly keystoning and has a bit of bare space at the top n bottom, but there's nothing we can do about it (can't fully mask this--well, we could bring it in a little once the show starts, but the top and bottom will stay the same and it's only slight, I am somewhat nitpicking) and we can't fit it into another container, of course. In any case, it should be a great show! 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Cristina sent us the Google Drive link to the master doc for the Gotham Shorts and links to the DCPs. I added two more sections to the master doc with 'downloaded' and 'ingested' so we can keep better track of what's where. Will and I started taking care of the downloading/ingesting today, which Jack will continue tonight. 

Cristina looped us in with the folks for Stolen Kingdom. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): We'll get the fedex info to ship out Vicious Lips (Vampire Lovers), but for right now, it stays in booth 4/6. I reached out about this. 

Print/video Inspection: Looked at he Blob to confirm everything looks good/sounds good. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Saw that the boxes of tape I ordered came in, which is great, and I ordered more zip ties which will be coming tomorrow morning (if the order is approved in time). It's a bag of 1000. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes

Marquee updated?: All set.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
