Projection Admin 9/1



To do this evening/ was completed: Busy day for calls plus an early open for Labour Day, so I'll have to take a look at the cable connection in Trees on Wednesday. For now, Plex is still working of course. 

Keys now active, got my eyes on Tremors this morning and adjusted volume. All set for tonight! 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built more SE playlists, waiting on the slide for Jackass, waiting on preshow for Thelma and Louise. Tech'd the content and built the playlist for the private event in T6 tomorrow night. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Scheduled a call with the TEAL folks and Chenelle for this Wednesday so we can iron out a few details and finalize the ROS for this upcoming weekend. This is for the private events in 3, 5 and 7. I did a few run throughs today with the mics/music in 3/7. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): I am redownloading the DCP of Sierra one of the animated shorts. It has not been ingesting, so please try again once the download is complete. It is finishing to the preshows/trailers drive via Cyberduck. It will be done soon. Thanks! I am still waiting to hear back from the host for the short Night to see if they can reupload their DCP. Other than that, we have all the others ready to go. I ingested all other shorts to T1 so we'll be ready to tech. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed out labels and scheduled a pickup for It's Alive III for tomorrow morning, heading back to the Academy. The print is on the cart, ready to go. 

I reached out to David from Sony to let him know that the Babysitter's Club is ready for pickup. 

Print/video Inspection: This evening, the print of Troll 2 can get inspected. It is in T1. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: We should be receiving that new speaker stand by Weds. 

Ordered more packing tape for shipping. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Double checked info for Tremors and am waiting for Chenelle to confirm the end time for the private event tomorrow night. 

Marquee updated?: Yes! Added new brunch titles today with Son of the White Mare and Jackass: The Movie on (35mm)

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
